Playa San Cristóbal de Gran Canaria

"Public toilets, lifeguards are exactly what are missing along this local and tourist favourite stretch of coastline. Las Canteras is done right here notm. The amount of taxpayers money spent maintenance of the area requires better services for all visitors who come to try and enjoy the expenditures. The new seating, playground, some signage is nice but definitely not enough. Nearby new playground has bicycle parking so some new benefits from new money injections. New signage forgot to remind everyone not to smoke or vape in public! Wow what a stink in the air surrounding the whole area. It is amazing how many people were smoking and vaping along the coastal walk, in and around the seating by the children's playground and along the beach and walls. Despite the coastal wind the air was still full of smoke and vape gas from the crowds. And let's not forget the nasty pee smells in the walkway tunnels or the amazing lack of handicapped friendly or safe from speeding traffic walkways from bus stops if you choose not to experience the pee tunnels. So much potential still not realized. New signage doesn't remind people not to smoke in public."
